In the Academic session of 2021-2022, there are 15 History Core/Honors students to be the First Batch for the Department since its inception.

ACTIVITIES:
1) Faculty Exchange Programme for two days, i.e., 12th & 13th April, 2022 with the Department of History, Gov’t. J.Buana College, Lunglei, was organised successfully.
MODE OF CLASS: Most of the classes for the academic session, 2021-22 were taken through online mode due to pandemic. The normal/offline class was opened only for the final year students on 16thMarch, 2022 (Wed) while the other semesters still continued with online.
BOOKS FOR HISTORY:
During the 2021-22, there are 356 books related to History subject in the College Library.
FUTURE PLAN: Although a young Department (to have a Core/Honors students), the department chalked out various plans, amongst them are: Awarding the 1st position and top ten students in History subject in the University Examination; Preparing Museum/Archives Room; Study tour for the final year students; organising ‘Departmental Day / History Day’ every year.
