17th HATIM Valedictory Ceremony

The Higher & Technical Institute, Mizoram (HATIM) held its 17th Valedictory Ceremony on 18th June 2026 at K. Liantawna Hall, Kawmzawl, Pukpui. The programme was led by Dr. R. Lalnunthara, Principal, HATIM.
The ceremony began with a procession of special invitees, faculty members, and graduands, followed by the congregational hymn and invocation prayer offered by Rev. Lalremsiama Fanai, Chaplain, HATIM. The graduands were formally introduced and commissioned by the Principal and Heads of Departments, after which they took the graduation oath.
The Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. H. Lalthlamuana, General Secretary, BCM, delivered the valedictory address. Awards and acknowledgements were presented by H. Lalrinawma, Assistant Professor, HATIM, while the valedictorian speech was delivered by P.C. Lalrotluanga of the Department of Philosophy.
The college magazine was released by Rev. Vanlalmuankima, AGS (Service), BCM. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Hannah Lalnunpuii Khiangte, Vice Principal, HATIM, and the programme concluded with a benediction by Rev. R.C. Lalthanzama, Education Director, BCM.
A total of 111 students graduated from various departments. During the ceremony, Proficiency Awards were presented to the top-performing students of each department:

3. C. Lalrinmawii (BSW)
4. J. Remsangpuii (BA English)
5. Eva Malsawmsangi Mualchin (BA History)
6. PC Lalrotluanga (BA Philosophy)
7. Jonathan Lalhriatpuia (BA Education)
8. C. Lalzarmawii (BA Psychology)
The HATIM Award 2026, presented for excellence in academics, character, discipline, and overall conduct, was awarded to PC Lalrotluanga from the Department of Philosophy.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Pi Hannah Lalnunpuii Khiangte, Vice Principal, and a benediction by Rev. RC Lalthanzama, Director, Education Department, BCM.
