Clean Up Drive for Special Campaign On Public Education on Environment Protection & Conservation Laws, Climate Crisis And Sustainable Practices

The NSS Unit of HATIM actively participated in a Clean-Up Drive held on 10th February 2025 (Monday), as part of the Special Campaign on Public Education on Environment Protection & Conservation Laws, Climate Crisis, and Sustainable Practices. The event was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Lunglei.

A total of 37 NSS volunteers and 3 Programme Officers from HATIM took part in the drive. The clean-up activities were conducted in key locations of the town, including the Supermarket area, Agent Lane, and Tlabung Peng.

The campaign aimed to raise public awareness about environmental protection, the importance of sustainable practices, and legal measures related to environmental conservation. The NSS volunteers contributed their efforts with dedication, helping to clean and restore the cleanliness of the selected areas.

The event not only promoted cleanliness but also served as a practical step towards instilling environmental responsibility among the participants and the local community.
