HATIM Staff Refresher - Retreat Programme

The HATIM Staff Refresher/Retreat Programme was conducted on 2nd July, 2024, led by the Vice-Principal, Mr R. Lalnunthara. The programme encompassed three insightful sessions, each aimed at enhancing the professional and personal growth of the staff members.

The programme commenced with words of greetings from Rev. Dr. RL Hnuni, setting a positive tone for the day’s events.

Session 1: Vision and Mission of the Institution
Resource Person: Rev. Dr. K. Lalthanzauva

Rev. Dr. K. Lalthanzauva commenced the programme by emphasizing the core vision and mission of HATIM. He also highlighted the critical role that life skills play in education and the importance of integrating these skills into the classroom environment. The session underscored the necessity for educators to not only impart academic knowledge but also to provide skill-based education.

Session 2: Professional Ethics & Conduct Rules
Resource Person: Vuansanga Vanchhawng, Principal, HATIM

In the second session, Mr. Vuansanga Vanchhawng addressed the staff on the topic of professional ethics and conduct rules. This session aimed to reinforce the values and behaviors that contribute to a positive and effective educational environment.

Session 3: Christian Ethics
Resource Person: Rev. R. Lalnunzira, AGS-Service, BCM

The final session was led by Rev. R. Lalnunzira, who delved into the principles of Christian ethics. He discussed how these ethical guidelines can be applied in the personal and professional lives of the staff, promoting moral values, compassion, and a service-oriented mindset. This session aimed to strengthen the spiritual foundation of the staff, encouraging them to lead by example and instil these values in their students.
