“Introduction to Teaching English as a Second Language”

On 22 October, 2021 Miss Hannah Lalnunpuii Khiangte, HATIM convened an International Virtual Talk from Ms. Lalhlupuii Sailo. The department was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to engage a prominent Foreign Expert (English Language Teacher) and Representative India Cooperation, Chang'an University, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. She gave an invaluable talk on "Introduction to Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)". The program was held at 2:00 p.m IST.

Ms. Sailo with her diverse experiences and extensive years as a teacher in English Language in China possessed valuable information on English as a second language, a subject that is intriguing as well as relatable for all the attendees. The discussion that followed were especially beneficial for the students who wished to pursue higher studies abroad, and for those who have always nurtured the desire to teach. E- certificates were issued to all the participants.
