Name of the Event: HATIM English Drive

Venue: HATIM Multipurpose Hall

Purpose of the Event: This drive is solely for the purpose of improving the language, speaking skills, and enriching the vocabulary and realising the common fallacies that we, the students, staffs and teachers of HATIM unknowingly committed each day in our communication.

Detailed Description of the Event: On 5^th August, 2019 the Head of Department, Miss H.T. Zuali kicked off the drive and briefly enlightened the community about the importance of this drive. Thenceforth, a presentation on various topics such as Word for the Day, Common Error, Idiom of the Day and such were presented by the students of III Semester BA. In total 12 students made their presentations and was finally concluded by Sir Isaac Lalthazuala, Department Faculty on 30^th August, 2019. It was, as observed, a successful drive and the community was enriched with new words and idioms and from this drive, the community became aware and enlightened of the common mistakes that we make each day.
