​Webinar organized by the Department of Social Work, HATIM, Lunglei, Department of Social Work, ICFAI University, Mizoram and Department of Social Work, Divine Mercy College, Aizawl in honour of World Social Work Day 2022 on the theme “Co-Building a New Eco-Social World: Leaving No One Behind” was successfully held by using Google Meet with 171 participants. Mr R Lallianzela, Asst Professor, presided over the meeting. The Principal of HATIM, Mr Vuansanga Vanchhawng, gave the welcoming remarks. Mrs. C. Lalremtluangi, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, offered a key remark in keeping with the theme and by quoting the words of Annamaria Campanini, the president of IASSW “ we should be aware of the fact that in order to fulfil ourself as a person we need to make ourselves available to other”.

Miss Rebek Lalruatdiki Khiangte, Co-founder Director, Full Life Access Trust/ Ka Thiante In, Lunglei was the resource person. Miss Rebek, being a resource person delivered a messege based on the theme by motivating the Social Worker aspirants about the things that are important in life’s journey such as realizing one purpose in life, the importance of self-exploration to society, to have patience and determination towards one’s goal and the importance of constant reflection in life. The resource person concluded her speech by challenging the participants with the word “What Legendary Do You Want To Leave Behind?”.

​Dr. Zothankimi Ralte, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Social Work, ICFAI University, Mizoram, gave a vote of gratitude before the meeting was adjourned.
